Solar Unlicensed Electrical Journeyman is responsible for install and direct the work of the electrical portions of solar installations' wiring, conduit work, sizing of wires and disconnects, interconnecting and other related tasks on utility scale solar projects. RESPONSIBILITIES Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit utilizing various hand tools Safely utilize hand and power tools after proper training (Drills, Crimpers, Cutters, etc.) Lift, position, and fasten objects Prepare, handle, and supply of materials and tools be used by electrical trades Maintain a clean and organized work area, tools, and equipment Work under immediate and close supervision according to standard instructions and established procedures Effectively work and build relationships with those of diverse backgrounds and organizational levels All other duties as assigned Pull DC and MV wire Effectively work and build relationships with those of diverse backgrounds and organizational levels KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES Limited ability to read and interpret documents such as safety regulations, operation and maintenance instructions, blueprints and schematic drawings, and procedure manuals Ability to work with tools, such as, power and non-powered hand tools Willing and able to follow instructions and ask clarifying questions Ability to work safely with electrical equipment Mentor and train other team members on your crews Knowledge of working with HV/MV/LV AC/DC electrical systems Ability to handle materials that can weigh up to 200Ibs Strong teamwork orientation Positive attitude and professional customer service skills Detail oriented Active listening skills and effective communication including an openness to diverse input and feedback EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS High school diploma or GED 2+ years of Solar JM experience Minimum of 2 years Electrical experience Current driver's license ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS A. Ability to frequently work in heat and other weather conditions B. Frequently crouch, kneel, squat, climb C. Ability to lift, push, pull up to 50 lbs D. Frequently reach high and low places E. Ability to see, hear, balance, and review job sites F. Ability to stand and walk throughout work day G.
