Work type: On Campus Location: Normal, Illinois Title: Office Manager, Residential Life Job Summary The function of the Office Manager is to manage the operations of a Campus Area Office which is the conduit of the professional, paraprofessionals, and students residing in the area. Additionally this role is responsible for managing administrative duties for the Area Coordinator, all Residence Hall Coordinators, and Service Area Coordinator assigned to the area. Including support/secretarial and accurate record-keeping functions such as screening incoming calls, visitors, and mail, composing reports and memos, creating, and maintaining electronic and paper files, scheduling and maintaining event calendars, tracking appeals and project/communication timelines, and assisting with processing student and staff requests. Management of the area will require the use of judgment and initiative. Excellent knowledge of the residence halls' organization, programs, practices, and procedures is essential to performing duties. Additional Information University Benefit Highlights: Salary Rate / Pay Rate $19.06 - $19.71 per hour Required Qualifications 1. High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred Qualifications 1. Detail oriented, proficient in data entry, word processing, filing systems, telephone, Windows-based programs (preferably accounting, word processing, and spreadsheet programs).
