The Director of FP&A - Cash and Balance Sheet Management will oversee the analysis, forecasting, and strategic management of Tenneco's cash flow and balance sheet. This role is pivotal in ensuring that Tenneco's financial position is optimized to support growth objectives, operational efficiency, and investment strategies. The successful candidate will be a hands-on, detail-oriented finance leader with a strong foundation in cash management, balance sheet optimization, and analytical insight to drive financial stability and performance. This role will report to Executive Director FP&A. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Cash Flow Forecasting and Optimization: Lead and manage cash flow forecasting processes to maintain a robust understanding of liquidity needs and working capital requirements. Drive initiatives to optimize cash flow and identify potential risks and opportunities.
- Balance Sheet Analysis: Oversee balance sheet management by providing accurate analysis of key components, including debt levels, asset efficiency, and capital structure. Recommend strategies to optimize the balance sheet for long-term stability and value.
- Strategic Capital Allocation: Support and contribute to strategic capital allocation decisions in collaboration with senior finance leadership. Ensure efficient deployment of capital to achieve company objectives and maximize shareholder value.
- Working Capital Management: Work closely with cross-functional teams to improve working capital metrics. Implement processes and initiatives to enhance inventory turns, receivables collection, and payables management.
- Financial Reporting and Compliance: Ensure accurate and timely reporting of cash and balance sheet metrics. Ensure compliance with financial policies, controls, and regulatory requirements across all regions.
- Scenario Planning and Sensitivity Analysis: Perform scenario and sensitivity analyses to evaluate the impact of various financial strategies on cash flow and balance sheet health. Use data to inform decision-making at the executive level.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements and best practices in cash and balance sheet management to increase accuracy, speed, and efficiency.
- Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with regional finance teams and key stakeholders to provide insight into cash and balance sheet performance, trends, and areas of improvement.
Minimum Requirements: Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred. Experience: (# OF YEARS EXPERIENCE):
- 8+ years of experience in FP&A or Treasury, with a specific focus on cash flow and balance sheet management.
- Strong analytical skills with a deep understanding of cash flow forecasting, working capital management, and balance sheet optimization.
- Proven experience in a similar role within the automotive, industrial, or manufacturing sectors is preferred.

- Expertise in financial systems and tools (e.g., OneStream, SAP).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage with C-level executives and cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated experience in implementing process improvements and financial best practices.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to work across functions and regions to drive results.
