This team supports critical infrastructure and IT services for account and credential management, authentication, sign-on, access control and administration and participation in global security federations, all in support of institutional finance, HR, and Payroll needs for identity, privacy, security, accountability, transparency, efficiency, and cost-effective management of institutional risk. * This position provides technical consulting, education, outreach, and support to the customers and end-users of Workday Access services. * Responsibilities include researching and responding to customer needs, troubleshooting complex security issues, developing business requirements, contributing to projects that change the Workday feature sets and business processes, and coordinating testing/validation of security changes. * This position must collaborate across teams and with individuals in a complex business, technical, organizational, and policy framework that requires reliable, cost-effective solutions for Workday identity, privacy, access management, integration, and risk management. * Under the guidance of leadership team members, this position will navigate existing procedure documentation to provide clear, consistent technical advice and/or solutions for business problems; analyze and resolve problems in design and operations; understand Workday services and solutions. * Success in this position will require agility in navigating current procedure documentation, using facts as well as hands on learning exploration, adopting, adapting to, and advocating for new technologies; and revising and replacing their own practices to respond to new requirements and opportunities as they arise. *Responsibilities* *Technical Support and End-user Consulting (70%):* * Act as a Workday security analyst and coordinate closely with technically complex partner organizations across the company enterprise to ensure data is accessed in a way that meets the company business needs. * Work across Workday functional areas, and with partner organizations to directly support the evolving security design of the company's Workday HCM and Financials modules. * Troubleshoot complex security issues, develop business requirements and contribute robust security design options to projects that change the Workday feature sets and business processes. * Collaborate and partner with multiple customer stakeholder groups across the organization including project team members. * Work closely with system stakeholders across the HCM, Benefits, Finance and Payroll spectrum. *Documentation, Training, & Communication (30%)* * Maintain thorough documentation on Security routine procedure and protocol transparent internally within Workday Operations as well as within company Information Technology. * Support communication of security advisories, configuration updates and known issues. * Stay up to date on information technology trends and security standards CIS, NIST, ISO. * Work with a diverse group of individuals; placing a value on diversity, equity, and inclusiveness. *Requirements:* * Minimum two years' experience providing direct customer support with Workday in an enterprise help desk or service desk environment responsible for self-service, request fulfillment, incident management, problem and change resolution. * Demonstrated ability in technical writing, maintaining and developing internal and external customer facing knowledge base articles, and customer communications. * Knowledge of identity and access management practices and tools in a business or university setting. * Familiarity providing documentation, training and technical instructions to customers with varied technical expertise. * Demonstrated ability to identify, assist in, and resolve issues with services, using agreed upon procedures. * Demonstrated written / oral communication skills, user liaison skills, and personal interaction abilities.
