We are actively seeking experienced Lead Technicians to join our team as Field Project Managers. This role involves overseeing the installation of security cameras, access control systems, and voice/data cabling in commercial environments. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing large-scale projects and leading teams of technicians.
Key Responsibilities: * Oversee the installation of security cameras, access control systems, and voice/data cabling. * Manage projects involving 200-300 drops with 6+ technicians. * Read and interpret blueprints, handle issues as they arise, and work independently. * Provide regular updates to project leads and ensure project milestones are met. * Lead and manage a team of helpers on-site. * Interface with customers and maintain professional relationships. * Handle daily reporting, manpower planning, and financial management of projects. * Interface with general contractor (GC) foremen, electrical foremen, and project managers. * Pull cable on smaller jobs and manage larger projects. * Build and label IDF/MDF and provide as-built documentation to the GC. Qualifications: * 5+ years of experience in the installation of cable pathways, security cameras, access control, and voice/data cabling. * Proven experience managing large projects and teams of 4 or more technicians. * Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work without supervision. * Strong customer interfacing skills and professionalism. * Strong organizational and communication skills. Preferred Experience: * Extensive experience in commercial security system installations. * Familiarity with various access control and CCTV brands and models. * Certification in low voltage systems or related fields. * Experience with network-based security systems. * Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Work Environment: * Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 4 PM. * Construction sites with full PPE required. * Jeans and steel-toed boots are mandatory. * Limited travel may be required.
