Department's Website: Summary of Job Duties:The Mathematics Department at UA Pulaski Technical College is seeking an Assistant Professor of Mathematics for Spring 2025. The position requires on campus teaching responsibilities with multiple campuses a possibility; the position may also include live streaming, webinar and online courses. Candidates must possess a thorough knowledge of the teaching field, a commitment to high academic standards, a dedication to student success as well as excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.General Responsibilities: *Development of course materials, assignments and assessment of student learning outcomes within the structure of the courses taught *Management of accurate student records and timely submission of syllabi, roster certifications, grades and assessment reports *Commitment to follow institutional and department policies regarding all course and college procedures *Ability to establish and maintain positive, collaborative working relationships with students, colleagues and staff, including timely communications *Ability and willingness to use contemporary educational techniques and technologies *Participation in non-instructional activities, such as professional development activities, student advising, committee work at various level meetings as required by the college.
