Posting Summary |
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Research Assistant - Per Diem for
NJMS- Pediatrics. The primary purpose of the Research Assistant -Per Diem will be to conduct specialized epidemiologic surveillance and research under the supervision and direction of the study investigator
Among the key duties of this position are the following:
- Maintains confidentiality of information
- Adheres to field procedures as stipulated in the NJ Autism Study Field guide.
- Abstracts onto computerized abstraction forms relevant medical, sociodemographic and diagnostic information.
- Edits data, checks printouts, codes and prepares data for upload to main database
- Performs basic functions on the computer in Microsoft programs, such as: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint 6. Assists in data analysis.
- Performs other related duties, as assigned.

Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience |
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant area, such as: Psychology, Medicine, Public Health, Education, or related field.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities |
- Knowledge of autism spectrum disorders and other developmental disabilities
- Advanced knowledge with Microsoft Suite
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills.
