We are searching for a talented Physican Assistant will support the GYN-ONC department - both office & OR.

Hours: 32

Shift: Day; no weekend, holiday or on call.

Location: Fairhaven & Fall River, MA

Responsibilities

  • Under the general supervision and direction of the Physician, Practice Manager, or designee, provide care to assigned GYN Oncology patients utilizing basic knowledge of the pathophysiology of general obstetric and gynecologic issues which include but not limited to, preventative women's health, abnormal uterine bleeding, management of abnormal cervical cytology, vaginitis, pelvic pain, contraception counseling, intrauterine device insertion, endometrial biopsy, cervix exam on pregnant and non-pregnant patients.
  • Assist and/or perform with procedures & biopsies in both clinic and OR.


Qualifications

  • Physician Assistant: Bachelors Degree in a related field is required. Graduate of an A.M.A.-approved Physician Assistant program is required. Certification from a National accrediting body to practice as a Physician Assistant is required.
  • Physician Assistant Certificate is required.
  • Over 3 months experience.
  • Current Physician Assistant License is required.
