At Bloomberg Government, we're building one of the most comprehensive workflow platforms in the government affairs space. In this role, you are responsible for creating innovative, accessible, and personalized product experiences designed to help public affairs professionals influence and interact across all levels of government.

As a member of the BGOV product team, you will contribute to the research, discovery, prioritization, and roadmap process for products that will help our public affairs customers grow their businesses through better interpersonal networks, influence campaigns, and policy proposals. You will partner closely with our data, design, engineering, sales, and marketing teams to execute priorities and ensure a smart, ambitious product vision.

What you will do:

  • Reports directly to the Product Management Lead and collaborates with cross-functional partners and leadership to drive Bloomberg Government product vision and strategy

  • Analyze the market and competitive landscape to influence product roadmap

  • Engage with users regularly to maintain expert level understanding of their business and data needs and how BGOV's products can solve for them.

  • Build and refine AI and search capabilities to be leveraged across our entire suite of products, ensuring cutting-edge solutions that align with user and business needs.

  • Partner with the entire build team (design, engineering, product) to refine requirements that deliver the best possible user experience.

  • Define metrics and develop methods to track product performance. Clearly communicate performance and use data to evaluate product decisions and prioritize roadmap.

  • Contribute to a culture of collaboration and inclusion across all disciplines.

You need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience building/shipping digital products.

  • 0-3 years working on technology-powered products in roles like product manager, product designer, engineer, data analyst, data scientist, user researcher, or comparable experience.

  • Demonstrated ability to assist in the developmentof product vision, go-to-market strategy, and design discussions.

  • Demonstrated understanding of the techniques and methods of modern product discovery and product delivery.

  • Demonstrated ability to figure out solutions to hard problems with many constraints, using sound judgement to assess risks, and to lay out your argument in a well-structured, data-informed, written narrative.

  • Proven ability to engage with stakeholders across the business in a constructive and collaborative relationship.
