Facilities Project Manager III Lubbock 39173BR Position Description Provides comprehensive project management including development and adherence to budget. Schedule and scope of work to include project development, planning and programming. Plans, schedules and coordinates project activities to meet deadlines. Monitors project compliance with applicable codes. Coordinates the overall integration of the project. Supervises and directs project personnel. Assigns duties and responsibilities to other project managers. Review of project close-outs from all project managers. Coordinates Deferred Maintenance projects and budgets. Signatory responsibility of project proposals < $5,000. Serves as liaison between Physical Plant and Plant Operations on annual CCI report. Major/Essential Functions
Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Landscaping Architecture, Interior Design or related field from an EAC/ABET or NAAB accredited institution. Five (5) of extensive experience in managing large multiple design and construction projects. An advanced degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Landscaping Architecture, Interior Design or related field may substitute for one year of experience. Prior experience in design, construction and facilities support. Extensive knowledge of contract procurement, contract administration, budget oversight and meeting/managing deadlines. Valid U.S. driver's license and proof of liability insurance as required by TTUS Office of Risk Management. Registered Architect (RA) and/or certification as a licensed Professional Engineer (PE).
