Postdoctoral Fellow

Job Summary

The job entails processing and characterizing a new class of materials discovered here we labelled hydroxide derived nanomaterials. Of these, one dimensional titania is where most of the research will be concentrated. The post-doc will make and characterize these materials. More specifically, they will characterize the materials for catalytic and battery applications.

Essential Functions

• Carrying research in the lab.
• Writing papers.
• Mentoring students and writing proposals.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• A PhD or Doctorate degree in Materials Engineering or Chemical Engineering is required.

• University City - Philadelphia, PA

Additional Information

This position is classified as exempt grade I. Compensation for this grade ranges from a minimum of $41,120.00 to a maximum of $61,680.00 per year, but it can vary based on the successful candidate's qualifications and experience, department budget, and an internal equity review.
