STV is currently seeking aSite/Civil Design Engineering Specialist for its Buildings group inOwings Mills, MD, which is currently the civil engineer of record for such high-profile projects as Harborplace and the Baltimore Peninsula in Baltimore, MD. The candidate willcollaborateon a wide variety of projects including conceptual master plans, schools, mixed-use,office buildings, industrial buildings,housing/apartment projects, commercial buildings, and civil/site structures.The position will allow the individual tocollaboratewith a civil design teamprocessing documents associated witha wide variety ofland development projects within the Baltimore Metropolitan area.

The ideal candidate will have at least a bachelor's degree inCivil Engineeringand be an Engineer In Training (EIT). Experience with MicroStation or AutoCAD is strongly preferred.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Exposure to working within the State of Maryland preparing civil engineering documents associated with grading, erosion/sediment control, storm water management, roads, utilities, i.e. water, sewer, storm drain, and conduit for both public and private sector clients.
  • Experience working in Baltimore metropolitan jurisdictions (ideally with Baltimore City) and familiarity with their design review processes.
  • Experience with MicroStation or AutoCAD.
  • Successful completion of the FE exam (EIT) with the goal of obtaining a PE license within 3-5 years.

Compensation Range:

$64,044.00 - $85,392.00
