Stony Brook University: Provost Office: College of Arts & Sciences: Chemistry Location Department of Chemistry, Stony Brook University Open Date Nov 11, 2024 Deadline Dec 02, 2024 at 11:59 PM Eastern Time Description LECTURER POSITION - CHEMISTRY STONY BROOK UNIVERSITY invites applications for a one-year, renewable, non-tenure track lecturer position in the Department of Chemistry beginning in January 2025. Stony Brook is a research university with a strong commitment to curricular innovation. The position includes opportunities for curriculum development and for training and supervision of teaching assistants in the Department's undergraduate chemistry courses. Initial assignment will likely be in our organic chemistry courses, and may include both lecture and laboratory. A Ph.D. in Chemistry, Chemical Education or related fields is required. Previous experience administering large lecture or lab courses would be a plus.
