Job Summary:
As a member of the Electronics & Specialty Products team, the Site Quality Coordinator oversees adherence to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards, ensuring the implementation of robust Quality and Environmental Management Systems. The Site Quality Coordinator manages customer feedback and leads investigations into complaints and defects, implementing corrective and preventive actions, and reports findings comprehensively.

Principal Responsibilities:



  • Ensure compliance of ISO 9001 (Quality Management System) and ISO 14001 (Environmental Management System) at the Messer Electronics & Specialty Products site level.
  • Manage customer feedback, including leading customer complaint and internal defects root cause investigation, problem-solving, corrective, and preventive action (CAPA), and response/8D reporting.
  • Establish and maintain internal audit program.
  • Establish and maintain Lean Management program, which includes staff training, 5S, etc.
  • Establish, monitor, and report on Quality Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and improvement initiatives.
  • Provide support and help prepare for customer and 3rd party audits and visits.
  • Improve and promote quality practices and programs to develop a Culture of Quality, ensuring customer satisfaction to maintain and win new Electronics and Specialty Products business.
  • Support HSE site compliance activities.
  • Maintain the quality management system to comply with the ISO 9001 standard.
  • Write, revise, and maintain procedures and policies required by ISO 9001.
  • Lead investigation of internal defects and customer complaints using formalized root cause investigation tools and develop sustainable corrective and preventive actions.
  • Lead internal audit program on site level. Establish schedules for site (9001 & 14001), lead/complete internal audits, train and assign auditors, track activities associated with internal auditors, raise and manage findings, assess corrective action effectiveness to drive continuous improvement, and generate and report KPIs.
  • Lead site Material Review Board (MRB).
  • Manage TLIMS (site laboratory/quality information management system) defect log. Develop, maintain, train, compile data, report and disposition defects.
  • Lead process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA) with site. Ensure follow-up and completion of related action items.
  • Develop and maintain the site 3-Deep Training matrix. Establish training management system reports and ensure task-based certification.
  • Facilitate site Management Review meetings and participate/report at business level Management Review meetings.
  • Manage site's 5S & Sustainability program with respect to developing standards, creating checklists, ensuring supplies/equipment availability, training personnel, etc.
  • Lead, participate, and/or support continuous improvement projects; provide technical and data-driven analyses to support process improvements.
  • Develop & report site-specific quality KPIs to local and corporate stakeholders.
  • Participate in site HSEQ committee meetings as a standing member.
  • Complete customer questionnaires, surveys, and inquiries.
  • Improve the Culture of Quality via internal communications such as SHEQ Topic of the Week bulletins, training materials/presentations, newsletters, etc.



Required Skills:



  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO14001 management systems standards.
  • Experience in auditing for compliance to ISO 9001 and ISO14001 standards.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio, etc.
  • Strong organizational and written communication skills.
  • Ability to interface with customers, suppliers, and management.
  • Working knowledge of FMEAs, Control Plans



Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's Degree in Science, Engineering, Statistics, or Quality Management.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in gas industry, semiconductor manufacturing, and/or production experience.
