IT Support Intern

As the IT Support - Intern you will be responsible for assisting the IT Network group in inventory, maintenance, and level-one support of PCs, RF devices, and other network devices.

Duties / Responsibilities :



  1. Assist in the setup, maintenance, and inventory of computer hardware and software, including PCs, printers, copiers, RF devices, IP phones, and smart devices.
  2. Perform the functions of a Help Desk Technician solving end user's computer hardware and software issues.
  3. Record, track, and document help desk request issues and steps taken for remediation.
  4. Provide basic hardware and software training to end-users.
  5. Perform miscellaneous projects as assigned by the IT Network Services Team.


What You Can Offer




  • Current enrollment in an undergraduate degree program in an IT field of study. Areas of study include PC Support, PC Technician, Help Desk, or Network Services.



  • A minimum of three semesters in an IT field of study.


  • Basic knowledge of PC hardware, Windows Operating Systems, Networking, and Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Basic troubleshooting skills and the ability to work with end-users in a courteous, patient, and professional manner.
  • Must be able to lift and carry computer hardware weighing up to 40 pounds.
