Carnegie Mellon University's Heinz College of Information Systems and Public Policy is looking for an innovative and proactive manager to oversee the launch and deployment of an exciting new master's degree in AI Systems Management (MAISM). The MAISM degree will matriculate its first set of students in fall of 2025.
Heinz College has a cutting-edge portfolio of professional master's degrees that attracts students from across the globe. MAISM will be delivered as a full-time program on our Pittsburgh main campus. There is considerable work to be performed by the incumbent in the rolling out and subsequent oversight and leadership of the MAISM degree. This is a dynamic opportunity to lead change in a high-tech, forward-thinking organization and to make a significant contribution to the state of the art in graduate education. The Senior Director for Master of AI Systems Management (MAISM) and the School of Information Systems Management will partner with the Associate Dean for Information Systems Management. The incumbent will serve as the head product manager of the MAISM degree, overseeing multiple facets of program delivery, student support, and program growth. The Senior Director will also create and steward a structure for academic program portfolio evaluation and management including metric development and tracking, curriculum alignment, committee management, and internal and external outcomes reporting.
