Job Summary (includes but is not limited to the following, other duties may be assigned) Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Program Manager II at Calpine is responsible for the implementation and ongoing oversight of major programs related to EHS and Learning and Development on a fleet-wide basis. Projects include but are not limited to, facilitating the implementation and development of strategic EHS projects, monitoring event trends, participating in incident investigations, communicating process changes, and providing recommendations to Calpine Management regarding critical items. The programs managed by the Program Manager are to provide consistent implementation of the program throughout the Calpine Fleet, improving operational reliability and efficiency. This role ensures adherence to master plans, schedules solutions to program problems, and ensures programs are consistently delivered and maintained. The Program Manager provides technical guidance to other departments in Calpine and provides technical leadership to both internal and external organizations and entities. Job Responsibilities
