Responsibilities Under the minimal direction, the IT Director will be responsible for overseeing all technology operations and ensuring that they align with the hospital's strategic objectives. This role will manage IT staff, collaborate with clinical departments, maintain electronic health record (EHR) systems, and implement technology solutions to improve patient care, operational efficiency, and data security. The IT Director will also ensure that the hospital complies with healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA) and industry standards for data protection and management. This position requires the ability to independently identify and fulfill responsibilities with minimal oversight, especially on critical matters. The role frequently involves exercising discretion and independent judgment, evaluating different options, and making informed decisions. The position is expected to effectively prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently, and ensure deadlines are consistently met. Qualifications EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING Required qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
