Northwestern University is seeking a temporary Senior Admin Specialist for the Evanston campus.

Temporary Job Description:

  • Provides administrative support to The InQbation Lab: Serves as the initial point of contact for guests and start-ups, providing professional services, ensuring appropriate presentation of facilities and meeting spaces, and receiving and reviewing incoming requests and correspondence to determine significance and the proper response. Maintains The InQbation space, ensuring kitchen supplies are stocked, tables are wiped down, water is available for guests
  • Serves as the facility's main point of contact for work orders, building issues, and department access. Manages the classroom calendar.
  • Manages The InQbation Lab calendar, scheduling meetings and arranging travel.
  • Creates flyers, create Outlook invitations/plan purple events, send newsletters, update website
  • Track numbers for end of year metrics (# of events, # of guests)
  • Manages onboarding for work-study students and temps; ensures office property (computer, phone, supplies, workspace) is in place; works with new startup employees and companies to ensure a smooth transition to University and the Lab's policies and procedures.
