Pay Range Hiring Range: $19.75 - $24.38 hourly
Full Range: $19.75 to $29.00 hourly
The salary is based on the candidates' equivalent experience and internal equity with other employees within the same job classification. A higher wage would only be offered based on direct court-related or legal experience (e.g., that with a law firm). If you are offered a position, you can discuss additional questions regarding pay with HR during the hiring process.
The position is eligible for overtime compensation for all hours worked over 40 in the designated workweek.

About the Position The Maricopa County Clerk of the Superior Court seeks a detail-oriented problem solver to become our Administrative Courtroom Services Specialist. As an Administrative Courtroom Services Specialist, you will provide administrative functions to our Courtroom Services Division, such as processing, proofreading, and issuing court documents. We Require
Two years of clerical/administrative experience in an office environment High School Diploma or GED A combination of post-secondary education and/or job-related experience may substitute for the minimum qualifications on a year-for-year basis

Assist Courtroom Clerks with the processing and/or issuing of non-hearing court rulings, garnishment orders, judgments, and other similar court-related documents Mark, secure, and process courtroom clerk-approved exhibits for court proceedings Determine the correct parties and agencies entitled to receive copies of notices, minutes, and orders Prepare standard draft minute entries within established timeframes based on the notes provided by the courtroom clerk Attend court proceedings that do not require minute entries, process court orders and notifications directed from proceedings Proofread and edit all assigned work for accuracy and detail
