Responsibilities

Page Raleigh is looking for a Senior Healthcare Planner to join our team. The Senior Healthcare Planner's role is to implement the design concepts that are developed by the design team and the Owner.

  • Will participate in making decisions regarding planning & design concepts
  • Assist in maintaining project square footage within approved program
  • Coordinate the team in producing PD & SD presentation drawings reflecting Page's planning and design recommendations and client expectations relative to approved program and budget
  • Mentor junior staff
  • Continue education through seminars and participation in professional organization activities
  • May participate in business development opportunities for the firm including assisting in responses to RFPs, making project presentations, calling on prospects, networking, writing articles and participating in professional seminars

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture
  • At least 15 years of experience
  • Registered architect in a least one U.S. jurisdiction
  • Should have a strategic orientation
  • Possesses analytical thinking skills
  • Is a conceptual thinker with design sensitivity
  • Is adaptable and objective
  • Ability to confront peers, subordinates and clients constructively
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Has good team management skills
  • Has good oral communication/presentation, writing skills, public speaking and can facilitate meetings with clients/ users
  • Has good client management skills
  • Has good technical knowledge
  • Has initiative
  • Developed leadership skills
  • Working knowledge of life safety and building codes
  • Has a grasp of fundamentals and knowledge of theoretical and practical developments in the field of healthcare architecture
  • Is proficient with REVIT, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Has strong graphic presentation skills
  • Good understanding of how buildings are constructed, i.e. systems, phasing
