What You'll Do
|
Summary/Objective: We are seeking a skilled and creative Front-End Developer to join our growing team. You will play a pivotal role in building and maintaining the user interface (UI) of our websites and web applications built on the Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) platform. You will collaborate closely with designers, back-end developers, and content authors to deliver exceptional user experiences that meet business objectives and user needs. - Design, develop, and implement high-quality, responsive front-end components and templates using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Leverage AEM features to build and manage reusable UI components, pages, and workflows.
- Integrate AEM with third-party APIs and systems to enhance functionality.
- Optimize website performance for speed and responsiveness across all devices.
- Write clean and maintainable code adhering to best practices and coding standards.
- Conduct thorough unit testing and collaborate on integration testing to ensure code quality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve front-end issues to maintain a seamless user experience.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest front-end technologies and trends relevant to AEM development.

What You'll Need
|
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager, demonstrating a strong understanding of AEM architecture, components and templates.
- Experience with AEM as a Cloud Service a plus.
- A portfolio showcasing previous front-end development work.
- Proven experience as a Front-End Developer with 2+ years of experience in a commercial environment.
- Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
- Experience with front-end frameworks like React, Vue.js, or AngularJS (a plus).
- Familiarity with responsive web design (RWD) principles and best practices.
- Experience with AEM development, including HTL (HTML Template Language) and Sling (a plus).
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git, AEM Developer tools such as CRXDE, and build tools like Maven
- Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
