What You'll Do
|
Summary/Objective: Leads and recommends projects geared toward improved risk management processes and systems. Provides guidance and support for risk analysts. Maintains an ongoing in-depth knowledge of risk management best practices and regulatory requirements concerning credit unions ensuring DCU is fulfilling those requirements both in practice and through written policies and procedures. - Provide guidance to Risk Analysts
- Lead projects and risk program development
- Continual development of IRM/GRC tool, processes, and reporting
- Maintains, develops and improves risk management reporting
- Participate in Risk assessments across all departments
- Support development of risk and control inventory
- Document and maintain risk management inventories and processes, e.g., risks, controls, metrics, etc.
- Remain up to date on significant industry events
- Track and gather DCU/departmental metrics
- Provide content for management reporting as needed
- Maintain working relationship with department managers
- Participates in various projects as assigned by Manager
- Perform other duties as assigned.

What You'll Need
|
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or related area, preferred
- Three to five years-experience in Enterprise Risk Management or Internal Audit required
- Three to five years-experience in financial industry preferred
- Strong PC and analytical skills
- Ability to handle multiple priorities
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Excellent writing skills
