See Yourself as an Associate Software Engineer

As the Associate Software Engineers at Radian you will work on our products. This includes proprietary, customized-off-the-shelf, as well as third-party solutions to enable business lines, service offerings, or other. You are responsible for delivering high-quality, standardized, secure, and performant code for the value benefit of Radian and our customers. You should be a learner and contributor to projects.

Your Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop features and improvements to the Radian products in a secure, well-tested, and performant way.

  • Write code that meets our internal standards for style, maintainability, and best practices for a high-scale web environment. Maintain and advocate for these standards through code review.

  • Learn, collaborate, and teach other Software Engineers. Everyone can contribute something new to the team regardless of how long they've been in the industry.

  • Perform other duties as assigned or apparent.

  • Design and develop algorithms for generative models using deep learning techniques.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate generative AI solutions into existing workflow systems.

  • Research and stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in generative AI technologies and methodologies.

  • Optimize and fine-tune generative models for performance and efficiency.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to generative AI models and implementations.

  • Create and maintain documentation for generative AI models and their applications.

  • Communicate complex technical concepts and findings to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Perform other duties as assigned or apparent.

Your Knowledge:

  • Working knowledge of Angular, React, ASP.NET, and/or working knowledge of Java, C#, or NodeJS.

  • Experience with web application development.

  • Experience with git and CI/CD.

  • A fundamental understanding in core web and browser concepts.

  • A fundamental understanding of HTML, CSS, and core JavaScript concepts.

  • A fundamental understanding of relational data models.

Your Skills and Abilities:

  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written..

  • Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive.

  • An inclination towards communication, inclusion, and visibility.

  • Self-motivated and self-managing, with great organizational skills.

  • Comfort working in a highly agile, intensely iterative software development process.

  • Tech Startup Experience.

  • Enterprise software company experience.

  • Product company experience.

  • Developer platform/tool industry experience.

  • Experience working with a global or otherwise multicultural team.

Your Education, Certifications and Prior Work-Related Experience:

  • Degree Requirement: Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience

  • Work Experience: 2 or more years of prior work-related experience

  • Competitive Compensation:anticipated base salary rate from $63,800 to $91,200 based on skills and experience. This position is eligible to participate in an annual incentive program and a long-term incentive program.
