New Jersey's academic health center, Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences (

Posting Summary |
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Student Assistant for the Deparment of Urban/Global Health for the School of Public Health located in Newark NJ. The Student Assistant, under the supervision of Dr. Mobolaji Ibitoye, will assist with qualitative data analysis for a few projects focused on fertility desires and contraception use in sub-Saharan Africa and among African immigrants in the
USA.
Duties include:
- Assists with coding of interview transcripts.
- Assists with data extraction.
- Assists with analysis of qualitative data.

- Interest in sexual and reproductive health/global health

Preferred Qualifications |
- A student currently enrolled in a graduate program in public health is preferred.
- Prior experience in qualitative data analysis outside the classroom
- Proficient in using NVivo or Dedoose
