Posting Summary |
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Temporary Research Assistant for the department of Psychiatry at the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.
The Temporary Research Assistant supports grant funded research and demonstration projects.
Among the key duties of this position are the following:
- Daily communication with Principal Investigator and related faculty and staff on assigned projects.
- Recruiting study participants, scheduling study visits, obtaining informed consents for study participation and maintaining necessary study documentation.
- Conducts research activities included but not limited to development and distribution of surveys and facilitating focus groups and/or interviews., and quantitative data analysis/programming with guidance of PI and related faculty.
- Drafts reports and articles at the guidance of PI and related faculty.
- Provides coordinative assistance to PI and related faculty/staff by coordinating projects, programs, functions, and organizing project operations.
- Supports projects through tracking progress, organizing evaluation protocols, managing paperwork, preparing materials, and tracking publications and presentations.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience |
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field plus one (1) year of related research experience preferred.
- Experience and proficiency using PC software programs including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Adobe Professional and Internet.
- Educational experience can be used in lieu of employment experience.
