Ultrasound Tech,

Full-time, Evenings: Monday through Friday/5pm-1:30am

Under the department supervisor's direction, will oversee the daily flow of patients through the department and coordinate daily exam assignments. Will be responsible for quality control of the section as designated by supervisor

Job Duties

• Responsible for all records and charting of information related to individual cases.
• Collects patient histories and other related information, coordinating and communicating with the radiologist and all others as needed.
• Transports patients in a secondary capacity, when transporters are not available and dictated by necessity.
• Ensure safe working procedures for the US environment.

Requirements

• Technical Diploma
• RDMS (Physics and an additional specialty) and/or ARRT (S), and BLS required.

Preferred Requirements

• 1 year of experience preferred.
• RVT preferred in addition to RDMS/ARRT (S).
