Job Description: Summary: The person in this position will work with multidisciplinary project teams primarily serving mining clients. This person must have experience in civil engineering design and analysis related to site layout, grading and drainage, mass earthwork, etc. Work will involve technical assignments such as design with CADD modeling software, preparation of construction plans and specifications, spreadsheet preparation, site development design, report writing, large-report preparation, construction cost estimating, construction observation, and facility inspection. Assignments may also include working with permitting agencies and public officials. Administrative responsibilities also included in this strategic role may involve business development, project management, team building, project planning, and scheduling. This person will also have the opportunity to serve as a mentor to junior and mid-level engineers to grow their civil engineering expertise. The work may require travel for short-term, out-of-town work assignments. Minimum Qualifications:

A hybrid work arrangement may be considered for this position. A hybrid work arrangement refers to splitting time worked between a Barr office and a home office. This position is be based out of Barr's Salt Lake City, Utah, office. Compensation: The anticipated base salary range for this position is $85,000 - 95,000/year. This position is classified as exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). Compensation will vary based upon relevant experience, education, skill level, and other compensable factors. Employees in this position may also be eligible for a discretionary cash bonus based on team and individual performance.
