Title:Instructor in Nursing Division: Provost's Office Department: Kinney College of Nursing & Health Professions FLSA Status:Exempt Salary Range:Annual Salary EEO Job Group:2 C6 Position Summary The University of Southern Indiana seeks applications for a renewable, 12-month Instructor in Nursing. Duties/Responsibilities This position will assume classroom teaching responsibilities as well as clinical supervision of students in the graduate and undergraduate nursing programs. Required Knowledge and Skills Qualified candidates must have a master's degree in Nursing. Candidates with a graduate degree other than Nursing will be considered qualified if they hold an active registered nurse license and have nursing practice experience. The candidate must hold a graduate degree in a field appropriate to their nursing faculty teaching or clinical responsibilities. If such a candidate is selected for the position, their hiring is contingent upon them having a written plan of study for completion of the master's of science in Nursing degree (MSN) and must matriculate into a college or university MSN program within 10 months of hire and must demonstrate orderly progression toward the degree completion throughout their appointment.
