Overview We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Reliability Specialist to join our team in the food manufacturing industry. This role is tailored for professionals with a foundational understanding of maintenance, ideally within a bakery or food production setting. This position is responsible for implementing advanced reliability tools, work processes, and supporting reliability efforts for the plant. They will work to improve equipment and process performance by applying reliability principles, statistical data analysis and supporting the work process to support the Company's overall strategic objectives with a focus on safety, people, quality, delivery and cost. - The Reliability Specialist will focus on addressing recurrent issues impacting plant efficiency and profitability, fostering a proactive approach to eliminating downtime and improving machinery performance.
- Identify and manage asset reliability risks through loss elimination, risk and Life Cycle Asset Management
- Analyze root causes of recurring issues affecting equipment performance and plant efficiency.
- Develop and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime and enhance throughput in the manufacturing process.
- Conduct an analysis of reliability problems to determine what reliability tools are required for the particular situation.
- Collaborate with maintenance personnel and production teams to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
- Monitor equipment performance metrics and recommend best practices to improve reliability and operational performance.
- Document and communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders, promoting continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support the implementation of preventative maintenance strategies to mitigate potential disruptions.
* 75% - Reliability/Project Management:
Develops engineering solutions to repetitive failures and all other problems that adversely affect plant operations. Utilize data analysis techniques that can include statistical process control; reliability modeling and prediction; Six Sigma methodology; root cause failure analysis (RCFA); and corrective and preventative actions systems. Delivers a through timely, cost-effective implementation to optimize operational effectiveness and efficiency. Participate in the of design and installation, scheduling and capital funds of cost-effective equipment modifications to help improve safety, reliability, and throughput. Provides active technical support for all plant departments, to drive performance objectives and improvement initiatives.
* 25% - Strategic Partner:
Provide ongoing leadership for Lean transformation and other continuous improvement initiatives. Actively participate in and help drive the 5S Program, kaizen events, standard work development, etc. Considers the impact of costs during the design phase or remedial action for correcting reliability problems on installed equipment and performs root cause analysis to help prevent failures. Participates in final check-out of new installations. This includes factory and site acceptance testing that will assure adherence to functional specifications.

Compensation and Benefits: The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between $84,200-$121,100
Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
