Requirements

    Bachelor's degree and two years of logistics experience or HS and six years of logistics experience
  • Proficient in the use of CMPRO to include, but not limited to:
    • Material/equipment issue and receive
    • Material Request Forms
    • Change Inventory Requests
    • Transportation Movement Requests
  • Hands-on experience with Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Disposal Services (DS); formerly DRMO
  • Experience with inventory control and inventory management
  • Experience with preparing materials for world-wide shipping
  • Experience developing and/or modifying documentation associated with logistical plans and procedures
  • Understanding of tracking and reporting equipment End of Sale (EOS), End of Life (EOL), End of Warranty (EOW) and Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS)


Desired Skills

  • Direct experience with United States Marine Corps logistical practices and procedures


Description

  • Providing comprehensive logistical services for United States Marine Corps Communication Systems that includes, but may not be limited to:
    • Lifecycle logistics support and material management
    • Applying the principles of Packaging, Handling, Storage and Transportation (PHS&T)
    • Receiving, shipping, managing, issuing, preserving, packing, redistribution, inventory, disposition, and/or disposal of project material
    • Researching, documenting, tracking and reporting equipment End of Sale (EOS), End of Life (EOL), End of Warranty (EOW) and Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS)
    • Modifying Technical Manuals and Stock List 3 (SL-3) artifacts as required
    • Creating, submitting and tracking CONUS & OCONUS Transportation Movement Requests (TMRs)
    • Daily data entry into the Configuration Management Professional (CMPRO) application
    • Developing, documenting and reporting logistics plans and procedures
    • Occasional travel to various CONUS and/or OCONUS locations to provide logistical support for equipment fielding
    • Kitting of systems for shipment

SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVEL
