POSITION OVERVIEW AND PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):

The Contract Security Manager will possess full authority to act on all contract matters and will lead the project management team to ensure technical, cost, and schedule performance. This role requires a dynamic leader with a strong background in security and quality management and team building and who is adept at interacting with government personnel and ensuring compliance with various regulations and standards.

This opportunity is for a POTENTIAL CONTRACT award and is contingent upon the contract being awarded. Consideration for a potential contract may require a signed letter of intent. If the contract is awarded, another position posting will be available on the Company Careers portal.



  • Acts with full authority on all contract matters.
  • On-site during the Government's regular working hours and available within one hour after regular hours.
  • Primary location at Bangor Building 1200, with responsibilities for visiting other sites.
  • Available to meet with Government representatives within one hour of notification.
  • Ensures performance objectives and standards are met according to the Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Provides technical and management direction for personnel working under the contract.
  • Organizes, directs, and manages operational support functions, involving complex project tasks.
  • Demonstrates the ability to set priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely in both verbal and written format
  • Meets with customer and contractor personnel to formulate and review task plans and provides deliverable items.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Relevant experience at a comparable level of responsibility on contracts of similar size, scope, and complexity.
  • At least three years of experience managing a workforce providing services on similar contracts.
  • At least three years of experience in preparing and enforcing Quality Management Systems programs on contracts of similar size, scope, and complexity.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess and maintain a Secret Security clearance.
  • Possess a high school degree.
  • Experience in labor relations, logistics, communications and weapons armory operations.
  • Must speak English fluently; read and comprehend written English
  • Must be able to demonstrate excellent skill using Microsoft applications
  • Must be capable of learning new computer programs and applications
