Accounts Receivable Clerk

Job Description

Bay Disposal is looking for an Accounts Receivable Clerk at our Norfolk, VA location.

What this Position Entails:

• Reconciliation of AR and cash accounts.

• Post customer payments.

• Weekly and monthly billing functions, as needed.

• Review and enter credit/debit adjustments.

• Research and address customer's concerns about billing and payments discrepancies.

• Assist with customer tax exemption audit and documentation.

• Ad hoc analysis and projects as assigned by the Controller.

What this Position Requires:

• 1+ years of accounting experience preferred

• Post-Secondary School degree/diploma with courses in accounting preferred

• Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel, Word, and Outlook.

• Detailed and able to navigate through competing priorities and deadlines.

• Great written and oral communication skills.

• Self-driven and takes initiative to improve processes and problems.
