Warehouse Supervisor
Overview Waters Corporation is currently seeking a highly motivated and team-oriented candidate to lead our Stockroom team in Milford, MA. This position will oversee a staff of (~20) Material Handlers spanning two shifts. In this role you will be responsible for the daily management of activities supporting material receipt, inventory controls, picking of parts to support factory orders, expedient movement of goods, and packaging of finished goods inventory. The successful candidate will be a passionate and agile leader, who strives to deliver superior value to our internal and external customers every day. They will have the ability to improve the effectiveness of the current processes and systems leading to enhanced material availability. This hand-on position requires dynamic leadership, excellent interpersonal skills, problem solving, critical thinking as well as a compelling initiative to see the organization succeed. Responsibilities * Responsible for the daily management of activities supporting material receipt, stocking of material, inventory controls, picking of parts to support factory orders, expedient movement of goods, and packaging of finished goods inventory * Institute standard procedures and incorporate best practices to ensure operational efficiencies * Establish and maintain internal KPIs and dashboards to monitor team performance (safety, quality, delivery, cost) * Support a continuous improvement mindset to improve processes and behaviors * Establish a robust operating mechanism including daily huddle to ensure team engagement and alignment * Create competitive advantage by hiring the right people and developing, coaching and enabling talent * Develop rotational training program to ensure depth of coverage and proper succession planning * Champion a physically and mentally safe environment for all employees * Maintain compliance to routine cycle count process Qualifications * Associates degree highly desired; * Minimum of 3 years management experience in a Stockroom or Warehouse setting * Strong leadership skills, self-directed and the ability to make independent decisions * Proficiency with SAP(or similar) and Microsoft applications required * Excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal, written and presentation skills * Ability to operate material handling equipment, including forklift, stock-picker, pallet jack and hand truck * Familiar with warehouse safety best practices * Passion for driving continuous improvement and operational excellence * Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and drive corrective actions * Familiarity with Duty Free Zone, cGMP, ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 13485:2016 is desired Company Description Waters Corporation (NYSE: WAT), the world's leading specialty measurement company, has pioneered chromatography, mass spectrometry and thermal analysis innovations serving the life, materials, and food sciences for over 60 years.
