What You've Accomplished

You have completed a High School diploma or it's equivalent. Millwright card preferred. The journeyman Millwright will have at least 4 years work experience which relates to the mechanical maintenance field, such as, repair of mechanical systems, metal fixture fabrication, welding, equipment alignment techniques and repair of pumps. Due to the variety of tasks, a thorough knowledge of maintenance techniques, material, tools and equipment is required. You are ready to join Framatome and help deliver clean, safe energy and advance nuclear technology.

As an Industrial Journeyman Millwright in Richland, WA, you will be part of the proven team in the Fuel Business Unit. Your work will include:



  • Examines equipment to diagnose trouble and effect repairs or replacement of broken parts.
  • Adjusts functional parts of equipment as required.
  • May work from engineering drawings or rough sketches in performing fabrication work.
  • Must adhere to established industry and safety practices.
  • Inspect completed work and ensure that work conforms to requirements of local building and safety codes.
  • Must be certified where required.

Framatome's Richland, WA facility is a licensed nuclear fuel manufacturing site and complies with US Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and US Department of Energy (DOE) regulations. This position is safety-sensitive and pre-employment drug/alcohol screening is required. Any employment offer is contingent upon the successful completion of a background investigation.

Your Total Rewards Package

The starting rate for this position is $51.97 per hour. After a successfully completed introductory period the pay increases to $54.70 per hour, and may also include annual incentives and benefits.
