Basic Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 8+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 6 years of job-related experience. Agile experience preferred.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.


Responsibilities for this Position

As a Systems Engineer supporting the Missile Defense System, you'll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for Use case development and prepare systems engineering artifacts including definition of Epics and Features to be developed by program Cross-Functional Product Teams to implement customer requested capabilities. You will also Support the development and review of interface documents, system requirements, Verification Cross Reference Matrix (VCRM) development, architectural documentation, system engineering estimates, and author and perform formal and informal engineering reviews.

  • Demonstrated experience in mission analysis with skill in development of use cases, sequence diagrams, and SysML modeling in support of Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
  • Experience with Agile Methods, and Epic and Feature definition is a significant plus
  • Skills generating system/element level functional, performance, and interface specifications to document and control the achievement of the desired capabilities
  • Skills in logical architecture modeling and/or interface definition, as well as knowledge of cyber security concepts and security accreditation are highly desirable

Workplace Options:
This position is fully onsite and can be located in town or out at Schriever Space Force Base.

While on-site, you will be a part of the GDMS team supporting our Missile Defense customer.

Target salary range: USD $142,601.00/Yr. - USD $158,198.00/Yr. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.
