WE BELIEVE IN THE TRANSFORMATIONAL POWER OF COMFORT Job Description Summary Assembles bags filled with loose fiber to produce backs and seats for upholstered furniture. Operates a machine designed to blow fiber into sewn bags Job Description: JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Obtains work order to determine appropriate bag size and quantity Fills bag with the proper weight of fiber per the specifications for the style Slides the bag on the table to the sealer station Operates the sealer as needed Loads bags onto carts for transportation to the upholstery assembly area Moves carts to proper storage location Fills the machine hopper with fiber Follows health and safety standards. Maintains a clean workstation and production floor Performs other tasks as assigned JOB REQUIREMENTS: * Equivalent combination of education and experience to perform the above duties * Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide Capacity to perform these operations using units of weight measurement, volume, and distance Teamwork skills OUR PURPOSE: We are La-Z-Boy Incorporated.
