Opportunity Overview:

This Lead Engineer/Supervisor Engineer (Job Grade 9) will be responsible to lead and collaborate with the customer and Westinghouse stakeholders to support implementation of Alternate Treatments associated with 10 CFR 50.69. The individual would be responsible for reviewing Westinghouse engineering deliverables to ensure they meet the quality and technical standards expected by our customers

What your day-to-day looks like:




  • Responsible for applying Risk-Informed Safety Classifications per 10CFR50.69
  • Expert in 10 CFR 50.49 Program Implementation and Requirements
  • Ability to apply industry-approved methodologies to identify qualified life for plant equipment
  • Ability to apply risk-informed methodologies to target equipment from an equipment reliability program perspective
  • Develop and review deliverables to ensure reasonable confidence that program requirements are met
  • Facilitate successful projects with customers by establishing and defending technical positions
  • Lead and/or support customer meetings with customer stakeholders


What we'd like to see from you:




  • Minimum of 10 years of commercial nuclear industry experience with increasing levels of responsibility
  • Engineering Degree or equivalent from Accredited ABET School
  • Experience in the application of Arrhenius methodologies
  • Experience in site programs & operational requirements
  • Experience working with maintenance and work management
  • Solid understanding of INPO AP-913 Equipment Reliability Process
  • Solid understanding of 10 CFR 50.65 & Maintenance Rule
  • Basic knowledge of 10 CFR Appendix B
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of Tools
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems
  • Able to get badged or obtain remote access at a nuclear station
  • Is a US citizen and compliant with requirements in 10 CFR Part 810
