Summary:
As an RN in the GI Lab, you will be responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide direct patient care to an assigned group of patients during a shift. Responsible for prioritizing the delivery of direct nursing care using time and resources efficiently integrating a standards-based framework model.

Procedural Nurse, recovery room nurse/Pre-Op nurse. Interviewing patients, starting IVs, procedural nurse assists anesthesia or moderate sedation. You will circulate and chart each patient. Monitor patient and circulate.

If assigned to inpatient GI, you will follow patient through all aspects of care to include Procedure and Recover patient. Procedures are based on acuity of patient.

Education:
*Minimum Associate Degree

*Degree from accredited academic nursing program preferred. (If a program is under conditional status, approval may be granted by system CNO).
