As a Security Operations Center (SOC) Intern you'll have the opportunity to work side by side with SOC analysts, incidence responders and threat hunters on the front lines of defending Motorola Solutions' customers from malware, ransomware, and threat actors.

This is a hands-on keyboard internship and you'll learn the fundamentals of investigating threats, analyzing network traffic, and understanding security risks associated with threats. You will learn about attack techniques and how to identify signs of compromise.

  • Completed a networking class or have a basic understanding of networking and the most commonly used protocols

  • Have a basic understanding of any scripting language (able to read & understand a scripting language)

  • Basic understanding of operating systems (Windows, Linux)

  • Be comfortable with solving problems on your own (GoogleFu)

  • Ready to develop your technical skill set.

  • A willingness to be challenged and a strong desire for continuous learning and growth

Basic Requirements
  • Actively pursuing a degree or concentration in Cyber Security, Information Technology or Computer Science.

  • Be at least in your junior year of school
