Work type: On Campus Location: Normal, Illinois Title: Geography, Geology, and Environmental Science Student Ambassadors Job Summary The student ambassador will assist with recruitment efforts to encourage high school students, community college, and current ISU students to apply and accept offers to the Geography or Geology programs at Illinois State University. Duties may include interacting with prospective students at Open Houses organized by Illinois State University throughout the year (typically occurring on Fridays and Saturdays), organizing recruiting activities, holding office hours, and reaching out to potential students through phone calls, emails, letters, and social media. Prospective students may also reach out directly to the student ambassadors. Students in this position should be well prepared to answer questions related to the programs, department, and university. There will be training for this position. Additional Information Student employees are eligible to participate in the University's 403(b) Plan. More information can be found here.
