The NASA-KSC Artemis Program requires a full-time engineer to support the operations oversight and programmatic operations for recovery and processing the Artemis II and beyond flight vehicles. The candidate will be responsible for developing the infrastructure, equipment, and processes to conduct the integration, ground processing, launch, and recovery of the Orion spacecraft. Primary duties consist of: Serving as the Ground Operations Manager Deputy for Landing and Recovery (L&R) to perform and support shore-based recovery processing and operations. Plan and coordinate NASA requirements for ground operations processing with DoD Human Space Flight Support (HSFS) and Naval Base San Diego (NBSD DoD) personnel. Perform and support Program Preliminary Design Reviews, Critical Design Review analysis, Systems Acceptance Reviews (SAR) / Operational Readiness Reviews (ORR) assessments. Review and identify impacts of change requests, risks, and other relevant documentation to L&R Operations. Minimum Requirements:
