We are seeking a Senior Director of Product Management to define the vision, strategy, and reason for entering a new category of Marketing Technology. This role requires a strong ability to evangelize and gain support from senior and executive leadership teams. You will lead the Marketing Cloud organization in executing this vision, establishing key partnerships with other clouds within Salesforce. Your expertise will also support the ongoing development and revision of the overall Marketing Cloud roadmap and elevate the PM team's understanding of marketers' needs and competitive pressures. This role reports to a Senior Vice President of Product Management based in the Bellevue, WA office.

Responsibilities:

  • Define the vision, strategy, and business case for entering a new category of Marketing Technology for Marketing Cloud

  • Evangelize with senior and executive leadership teams to achieve support for this endavor.

  • Lead the Marketing Cloud organization to complete this vision with partnerships from other clouds that you establish.

  • Develop monetization strategies for these capabilities in partnership with Finance.

  • Craft go-to-market strategies that ensure rapid adoption.

  • Support development and revision of the Marketing Cloud roadmap overall.

  • Elevate the organization's understanding of Marketer's needs and competitive pressures.

Requirements:

  • 20+ years of experience as a Product Manager or equivalent

  • Deep experience with marketing technologies

  • BS or MS in Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields or equivalent experience in technical leadership roles. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.

  • Consistent track record of leading all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience addressing executive leadership

  • Demonstrated excellence at working independently and effectively with cross-functional teams in a matrix organization.

  • Demonstrated success in distributed, global teams

  • English fluency.

Pursuant to the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance and the Los Angeles Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring, Salesforce will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records. For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $192,800 to $294,100. For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $210,400 to $320,800. Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
