- Providing Expert Technical Support: Deliver exceptional technical support by promptly and effectively responding to a wide range of technical issues and user inquiries, ensuring minimal disruption to daily operations and maintaining high levels of user satisfaction.
- Ensuring System Reliability: Proactively monitor, maintain, and optimize IT systems and networks to ensure continuous and reliable performance, thereby preventing potential system failures and disruptions that could impact the organization's productivity.
- Enhancing Security and Compliance: Implement and uphold robust security practices to protect the enterprise's data and IT assets, while diligently adhering to industry standards and regulatory requirements to ensure full compliance and mitigate risks.
- Facilitating Efficient IT Operations: Collaborate with team members and various departments to streamline IT processes, improve service delivery, and foster innovation, ultimately enhancing the overall efficiency and effectiveness of IT operations within the enterprise.
- Providing Excellent Customer Service: Build and nurture strong relationships with stakeholders by consistently delivering reliable, professional, and customer-focused support, ensuring that user needs are met promptly and effectively.
- Promoting Knowledge Sharing and Training: Conduct comprehensive training sessions and workshops for end-users and IT staff to enhance technical skills and knowledge, while creating and maintaining detailed documentation of IT procedures and best practices for ongoing reference and education.
- Supporting IT Project Implementation: Assist in the meticulous planning, execution, and monitoring of IT projects to ensure they are completed successfully, on time, and within budget, while coordinating with project teams to achieve defined goals and objectives.
- Ensuring Business Continuity: Develop, maintain, and regularly test disaster recovery plans to ensure the enterprise can swiftly and effectively respond to emergencies, thereby safeguarding business continuity and critical data integrity.
- Optimizing Resource Utilization: Efficiently manage the enterprise's IT resources, including hardware, software, and personnel, to maximize their value and minimize costs, while continually analyzing and recommending upgrades or replacements to enhance system performance.
- Staying Current with Technological Advancements: Keep abreast of the latest technological trends and advancements to ensure the enterprise remains competitive, while continuously improving personal skills and knowledge through ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
Experience Requirements:
- Extended experience of successfully delivering IT services.
- Strong technical knowledge of troubleshooting PC's, laptops, Windows
- Proven track record of cultural awareness while collaborating with your peers in the other regions.
- A broad knowledge of the different technologies used within Atlas Copco and available in the industry to give a good overall understanding of IT
- Working knowledge and use of Standard IT processes and methodologies (i.e. ITIL, PMI and SDLC).
- Comfortable with working in a highly matrix global environment
Educational Requirements:
- University degree or equivalent experience
- Certification within ITIL (Foundation) is a benefit
- Fluency in English, spoken and written is a must; second language preferred
