LinQuest is seeking a full-time Technical Project Manager to join our team in Beavercreek, OH. An active Secret clearance is required, with the ability to obtain a Top Secret.

As a Technical Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the tactical execution of projects and work with the directors responsible for this work to set the strategic direction. This position demands a unique blend of technical depth, leadership ability, and strategic insight, which will enable the team to design and develop unique capabilities for an Ecosystem designed to revolutionize how the M&S community operates. A foundational component within the Ecosystem is a Data Management Framework designed to streamline the integration, management, and discovery of diverse data assets. This framework facilitates efficient linkage and ingestion from any source and is enhanced by a powerful search capability for discovery and reuse across diverse workflows.

This position will be responsible for coordinating with LinQuest leadership to define the strategic direction and developing an implementation plan and roadmap to execute against the strategy. Within this role, the Technical Project Manager will be required to effectively communicate plans and gain buy-in from both team members as well Air Force stakeholders and senior leaders.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Lead the tactical execution and delivery of the Data Management Framework and the DAF M&S Ecosystem projects, ensuring both meet strategic objectives and deliverables on time and within budget.
  • Identify relevant tools, data sources, processes/concepts for inclusion within the MS&A Ecosystem.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders across different domains within the M&S community to consolidate requirements and pursue capabilities that current needs and gaps.
  • Drive the architectural design of both the DAF M&S Ecosystem and the Data Management Framework, focusing on integration of capabilities as well as the formalization of ecosystem requirements.
  • Facilitate strategy sessions and technical debates with highly skilled team members to gain buy-in and align project direction.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts, objectives, and status updates effectively to senior leaders.
  • Manage project risks and develop contingency plans.
  • Work with leadership to develop and execute an outreach methodology to socialize strategic direction to stakeholders within the community.



Required Skills and Experience:



  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Data Management: Strong background in data management principles, including data ingestion, storage, processing, and access.
  • Cloud Computing Expertise: Proficiency in cloud services with the ability to architect and manage secure, scalable cloud infrastructures.
  • Software Development: Knowledge of software development practices and tools, including DevSecOps, experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies, risk management, and software development life cycle (SDLC).
  • Systems Integration: Experience in integrating diverse tools and systems, including APIs, microservices, and custom connectors.
  • Project Management: Proven experience in project management within technical domains, preferably with expertise in data management.
  • Leadership and Communication: Exceptional leadership and communication skills, capable of motivating teams, driving strategic discussions, and presenting to senior executives.
  • Must have Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS



Preferred Skills and Experience:



  • Familiarity or previous experience working with the Department of Defense
  • Experience leading teams of 3 - 15 members
  • Military experience either operationally or in performing military utility analysis
  • Experience presenting recommendations to senior AF/DoD officials



Compensation: The salary for this position ranges from approximately $170,000 to $190,000, depending on relevant experience and qualifications.
