Minimum Qualifications:

• Associate's Degree in materials testing from an accredited institution of higher education

• At least seven years of experience in highway construction materials testing or inspection

• At least one year of experience in classroom instruction or similar

Applicable equivalencies may be considered on the above qualifications

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering, construction management, or related field

• CTTP certifications in Basic Aggregates, Concrete Field Testing, Hot Mix Asphalt, Soils, and Concrete Strength Testing

• Proficiency in reading/interpreting specifications

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Knowledge of construction and materials testing and associated laboratory equipment and calibration procedures

• Ability to effectively convey technical content

• Ability to communicate effectively for conveying laboratory testing procedures
