Perform routine, emergency, and preventative maintenance on Mobile Equipment. Support PM analysis activities for improvement. Responsible for actively supporting and monitoring the safety program. Troubleshoot forklift problems, electrical and hydraulic system, detect potential problems, safety issues and/or malfunctions. Including the use of diagnostic equipment. Identify solutions to correct malfunctions and reduce further breakdowns. Able to diagnose and repair mast and attachment components. Ability to work on internal combustion engines and systems. Replace broken or defective parts from stock parts and / or order replacement parts for repairs. Ability to operate hydraulic hose crimping machine and safely install. Ability to interpret electrical diagrams, repair manuals as well as schematics. Reassemble forklifts and make all necessary adjustments for effective and safe operation. Perform safety inspection of forklifts prior to being released back to production. Education and Experience Requirements: High School Diploma or GED equivalent Good Communication skills. Needs to communicate to all departments, and interaction with mobile equipment operators. Ability to operate forklifts, overhead cranes, hoists, and hand tools, rigging.
