Shifts Available and Hours:Daytime
Job Responsibilities:

  • Support trouble shooting activities to ensure timely, effective and efficient delivery of equipment back to the customer.
  • Perform routine, emergency, and preventative maintenance on Mobile Equipment.
  • Support PM analysis activities for improvement.
  • Responsible for actively supporting and monitoring the safety program.
  • Troubleshoot forklift problems, electrical and hydraulic system, detect potential problems, safety issues and/or malfunctions. Including the use of diagnostic equipment.
  • Identify solutions to correct malfunctions and reduce further breakdowns.
  • Able to diagnose and repair mast and attachment components.
  • Ability to work on internal combustion engines and systems.
  • Replace broken or defective parts from stock parts and / or order replacement parts for repairs.
  • Ability to operate hydraulic hose crimping machine and safely install.
  • Ability to interpret electrical diagrams, repair manuals as well as schematics.
  • Reassemble forklifts and make all necessary adjustments for effective and safe operation.
  • Perform safety inspection of forklifts prior to being released back to production.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Good Communication skills. Needs to communicate to all departments, and interaction with mobile equipment operators.
  • Ability to operate forklifts, overhead cranes, hoists, and hand tools, rigging.
  • Organize and prioritize daily activities for repairs and preventative maintenance.
