Manager - Operating Room

Full-Time Dayshift

Manages the daily operations of the department.

• Management of resources, process improvement activities, staffing and scheduling, and assuring delivery of safe, effective, timely patient care in areas of responsibility.

• Monitors financial performance of department and assures expenses and productivity align with workload and meets fiscal targets.

• Leads departmental activities and monitors care provided to comply with quality and customer service goals.

• Lead/participate in multidisciplinary and interdepartmental initiatives to improve care, services, and efficiencies.

• May need to assist with patient care on nursing unit.

Requirements:

• Associate of Science in Nursing (ADN) degree from an accredited institution.

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from an accredited institution required within three years of hire.

• Current unrestricted licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Kentucky required.

• Five years of job-related experience required.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) preferred upon hire and required within 90 days of hire.
