Overview ***This position requires on-site patient visits.*** ***This position is not remote.*** The Elizabeth Hospice is San Diego's oldest non-profit hospice of over 40 years. We are growing and looking for talented individuals to join our high performing team and support our mission. We serve all of San Diego county and south Riverside county with multiple hospice office locations. The LVN Position provides professional nursing care under supervision of RN for assigned patients across the life span (perinatal, pediatrics, and adults) in patients' homes or facilities according to established standards and practice. Participates as a team member of the clinical interdisciplinary team to ensure appropriate resources to all internal/external customers. Follows The Elizabeth Hospice rules, policies, procedures, applicable laws and standards addressed in the Compliance Program. Responsible for carrying out the mission, vision, values and quality commitment of The Elizabeth Hospice. Flexible to be trained in Admissions. Salary: $36.00 - $46.00 hourly. Compensation is determined by years of licensure. Work Schedule: Various days, 4:00 p.m. - 12:30 a.m. Per Diem Position - candidate must provide 6 shifts, 2 of which are weekend days, per month. Shift availability does not guarantee hours. Travel required for patient visits. Occasional travel for educational purposes. Weekend commitment: must provide at least 2 weekend shifts per month On-call commitment: one shift per month. LVNs will receive additional shift differential pay when at least 2 hours of a shift are worked between 7:00pm-7:00am. Responsibilities
