About the role

As a Quality Lead, your dedication to excellence in quality and compliance becomes the backbone of Reckitt's Nutrition Division. Here, you'll be influencing global health outcomes through meticulous attention to our products and processes. Your expertise will not only maintain the highest standards within our supply and distribution chains but also empower our mission to protect, heal, and nurture in the relentless pursuit of a cleaner, healthier world.

Your responsibilities

Prepares and analyzes samples of raw materials, finished products, and intermediate products using chemical, instrumental, and organoleptic quality control tests. Able to follow established methods and standard operating procedures while utilizing preferred laboratory techniques. Operates, calibrates and maintains laboratory instruments and equipment. Effectively performs duties required in the routine maintenance of a safe and efficient laboratory environment which is compliant with company and regulatory guidelines. Maintains current, complete, legible notebooks and laboratory records in compliance with good scientific and regulatory practices. Communicates directly with management and other departments on potential quality issues through prompt and detailed verbal and written communication. Assists with investigations pertaining to quality issues. Performs complex calculations and trouble shooting of methodology and instrumentation. Works in a laboratory environment using teamwork and interpersonal skills to accomplish goals.

The experience we're looking for

  • BS/BA degree in a natural science (chemistry, biology, food science, etc.) preferred. Non-degreed candidates with equivalent skill and experience will also be considered.
  • Demonstrates attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills required.
  • Demonstrates ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience using Microsoft based computer applications.
  • Experience with analytical laboratory equipment, techniques and information management computer systems preferred.
  • Experience working in a GLP and FDA regulated environment preferred.
  • Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrates the ability to achieve results while operating within company policies and procedures.
  • This position requires the individual to work with chemical or physical agents which may pose health or safety hazards if improperly handled.

Salary Range

USD $54,000.00 -$80,000.00

Pay Transparency

The base salary range for this role will vary based on experience in job and industry, training and education, skills relevant to the position, and other factors permitted by law. In addition to the base salary, the position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, which is subject to change each year.
